And it Rained!

As you know from my previous post, our furniture arrived TODAY!. The iorny is that we've had the most gorgeous weather on the Island for the last 4 weeks. So of all days, we were blessed with a day of continious rain! Just like when we left. RAIN!

But that didn't stop up. We moved in, but not unpacked YET! We're getting there and the house should be liveable in the next few days. I worked for 12 hours non-stop today, so I'm exhausted.

So? What did you do today?

See all the RAIN??

Kitchen with our African Ladies Paintings....I think they go nicely!

Firstly, sorry about the flash reflection in the window. I was tired and not in the mood to try and work out how to change it. While I was busy unpacking the boxes in the kitchen, I really started to doubt that we'll fit everything into this house. I even phoned Kurt to ask him if he is sure this house is bigger than our previous one. We're still unsure about that, but we have no doubt that we don't have enough cupboard space. The thing is, a house needs cupboards!!!!!!!

The painting was given to Kurt by a Friend of his: Terry! He is absolutely fantastic and wonderful when it comes to art and anything to do with colour! You can't miss this painting when you walk into the house!

Happy Birthday sweetie...

Hi there Karen honey, how are you???? Surprised to here from me???
Thought it was time i made a trip to Matts company and kick him out his off his office and off his computer to send a LONG LONG overdue message to my dear friend.

Have read all your wonderful news and seen your very creative Blog Spot.It is really very interesting, truley a work of art... Your home looks absoutly stunning and all your traveling adventures sound so interesting.
You both sound and look so happy.

Matt, Skye, Coby and I are well. Still in the complex, nothing much has changed...just the body corporate full of s**t. That just reminds me of you though and how totally opposite you and Kurt were...Been raining for the past two weeks so havent done much. Kids had a week holiday so went to St Lucia with friends for a few days. Luckily had two nice days with great weather.
When you come visit again we might have one ot two new members added to the family...looking for a Bull dog puppy and eventually got my way and trying for our third and final child! So cant wait...Oh yeah Matt akso came home with two Russian Dwarf Hamsters for the kids the other day so family really getting big.

Anyway, Can't chat to long, Boss on his way back to reclaim office plus have Coby here and he rearranging Matt's whole office(Ha Ha).

Hope you had a wonderful birthday and got spoilt rotten. Will check in soon to hear back from you...

Please send my regards to Kurt.

Miss you my friend. Always on my mind...

You buddy
Nadine

Growth - Ferrucci (1982)

"Growth is understanding what we have not yet been able to conceive; feeling what we have never felt before; doing what we have never done before. It is daring what we have never dared. It may not, therefore, necessarily be pleasurable. It obliges is to leave our comfort zone, to progress into the unknown, to face the tremendous inpact of the Self."
